Ben Wang
MBA, BSc (Hons)
Ben Wang is an experienced marketer with expertise in the banking, insurance, and education industries. He holds an MBA from the School of Graduate Studies, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). Currently, he teaches at several reputable educational institutions, specializing in management, business analysis, marketing, and entrepreneurship. Committed to student success, he also coaches students on effective exam techniques to help them excel in their studies.
Chan Tze Kang
FCCA, BFP ACA, CA(M)
As the Head of the Professional Accountancy Centre, Chan has been delivering Strategic Performance Management and Strategic Financial Management subjects for various professional accountancy programs, including ACCA, CAT, CIMA, and QP (HK), for more than 20 years. With international teaching experience, he has conducted classes in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, China, Hong Kong, and Uganda.
In addition to lecturing in professional programs, he conducts numerous Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programs and Train the Trainer (TTT) sessions for several professional bodies across ASEAN countries.
Chan has also provided training to academics from public universities, focusing on effective delivery of professional qualification programs. Furthermore, he consults on the development of course curricula to secure exemptions from professional accountancy bodies.
He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). He is also a registered mentor for the ACCA Oxford Brookes University Research and Analysis Project.
Chua Sing Ping
MBA, BBus
Sing Ping holds an MBA (International) from Edith Cowan University, Perth, Western Australia, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a major in Finance and a minor in Economics from the same university.
She brings extensive experience from her time at PwC, specializing in taxation, business advisory, consultations, and troubleshooting for multinational corporations, foreign-owned companies, and public listed entities.
With over 10 years of lecturing experience, Sing Ping primarily teaches ACCA and CAT courses, as well as degree programs. Her expertise includes ACCA Paper P6 (MYS) – Advanced Taxation, ACCA F6 (MYS) – Taxation, FTX (MYS) – Foundations in Taxation, and Economics for degree programs.
Dr. Christine Yap Yee Ming
PhD, MSc, FCCA, CA (M)
Christine has 12 years of industry experience, having held positions such as Finance Manager and Accounting Manager in foreign multinational corporations (MNCs). She also brings 18 years of teaching experience, specializing in Bachelor’s Degree programs and Professional Certifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA Australia, and ICAEW, with teaching engagements in Malaysia, Singapore, and China.
Christine holds a Professional Accounting Certificate from ACCA, a Master’s Degree in Economics and Finance from the National University of Singapore (NUS), and a PhD in Accounting from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). She is a Fellow of ACCA (United Kingdom) and a Chartered Accountant registered with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
In addition to her academic contributions, Christine conducts Train the Trainer workshops in China and corporate training on IFRSs in Malaysia, including for Jabatan Akauntan Negara Malaysia (JANM).
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eddy Yap
PhD, MSc, FCCA, CA (M)
Dr. Eddy Yap is the Founder and Managing Consultant of CONDUCTIVITI Business Advisory Sdn Bhd, a strategic and operational advisory firm that helps clients achieve their corporate objectives by accurately diagnosing pain points, addressing root causes, and implementing recovery through methodologically sound practices.
As an Accredited Trainer for various regulatory and professional bodies, Dr. Eddy Yap has trained and facilitated professionals and executives at all levels. He also serves as an Associate Professor at the University of Wollongong Malaysia and a Visiting Academic at several international institutions.
With over 25 years of experience spanning corporate, operational, and academic sectors, Dr. Eddy Yap holds professional qualifications as a Chartered Accountant (Malaysia), Chartered Certified Accountant (United Kingdom), and Certified Internal Auditor (United States), and holds a PhD in Finance. His teaching approach focuses on the practical aspects of accounting and finance, enabling participants to grasp, internalize, and apply concepts effectively.
In addition to his academic and professional contributions, Dr. Eddy Yap is recognized as a Productivity Champion (Leader Category) by the Malaysia Productivity Corporation and an ELITE Fellow of Universiti Malaya.
Harkiran Singh Wathan
MBA (Leicester), LL.M (UM), LL.B(Hons) (London)
Harkiran Singh Wathan holds a double Master’s degree – a Master of Laws (LL.M) from the University of Malaya (UM) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Leicester, UK. He also holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) (LL.B (Hons)) from the University of London, UK.
With over 20 years of teaching experience at the tertiary level, Harkiran has lectured at various universities, including Asia-Pacific University (APU/APIIT), the University of Malaya (UM), Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Wawasan Open University (WOU), and Open University Malaysia (OUM).
In addition to his academic roles, he has conducted training on topics such as “Banking Operations and the Banking and Financial Institutions Act 1989 (BAFIA)” at iCIMB, a subsidiary of CIMB Bank. Harkiran has also been a speaker at MATRADE seminars, delivering presentations on “Business Law in Today’s Globalized and Internet Era” and “Export Trade Disputes.”
Kok Shwu Jiun

Shwu Jiun began her career in tax services under an ACCA Approved Employer after completing her ACCA studies. She later decided to transition to the academic sector, fulfilling her long-standing aspiration to become an educator.
With her experience working with both individual and corporate clients, she believes that practical experience and real-life examples are essential teaching tools. Shwu Jiun is dedicated to creating a stimulating and encouraging classroom environment for her students.
Lau Ee Mei
ICSA
Ee Mei is an experienced lecturer specializing in cost and management subjects, with over 20 years of teaching experience. Ensuring her students gain a thorough understanding of the topics has always been her top priority.
She has successfully guided her students to win world prizes for these subjects in the LCCI examinations. Her dedication and commitment to teaching have made her one of the most popular lecturers, known for maintaining strong relationships with her students.
Lee Tze Yang
ACCA, CA(M)
Tze Yang is an experienced and dedicated lecturer with over four years of teaching experience. He specializes in ACCA papers, including Financial Reporting (FR), Audit and Assurance (AA), Strategic Business Reporting (SBR), and Advanced Audit and Assurance (AAA).
In addition to maintaining high pass rates among his students for ACCA exams, one of his notable achievements is guiding a student to achieve the highest score in Malaysia for Strategic Business Reporting (SBR) during the ACCA September 2021 sitting.
Before becoming a lecturer, Tze Yang worked at one of the Big 4 accounting firms, gaining experience in accounting, auditing, taxation, and payroll. He also provided consultation and advisory services to both corporate and individual clients. His practical experience enables him to simplify complex concepts, making it easier for students to understand key subject matters and apply their knowledge effectively in exams.
Tze Yang is also a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and Malaysia Institute of Accountant (MIA).
Ng Kian Tuck
CA (M), MBA
Mr. Ng Kian Tuck is a Chartered Accountant (CA) registered with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and a graduate of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University. Additionally, he is an Oxford Brookes University-registered mentor and a certified HRD Corp trainer.
With over seven years of experience in an audit firm, Mr. Ng has gained extensive exposure to various fields and industries, focusing on corporate reporting, tax audits, and training. Driven by his passion for training and the pursuit of greater achievements, he transitioned from audit practice to full-time professional training and education.
For more than a decade, Mr. Ng has been lecturing in professional accountancy programs such as ACCA and AIA. He has conducted seminars and workshops on accounting and auditing topics at various universities, colleges, and major corporations, including Petronas and Sime Darby. Over the years, he has trained more than a thousand students and professionals.
Mr. Ng believes that education and personal development are key to transforming the lives of the next generation. A lifelong learner himself, he is passionate about sharing his knowledge and experiences to inspire others and uphold his educational philosophy.
Nicholas Chua
FCCA, CA(M)
Nicholas graduated from Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology with a major in Accountancy. He is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Corporate Governance at Putra Business School (PBS).
Nicholas specializes in risk management, corporate governance, and business analysis within the corporate sector. He is committed to sharing his professional experience to support student success and provides coaching on effective exam techniques for professional examinations.
Nicholas Lim
FCCA, CA(M)
After completing his ACCA qualification in 2003, Nicholas Lim has been involved in audit and assurance services for several years. Besides audit, the job has exposed him to various assignment in the field of accounting, tax etc encompassing different industries listed on the Bursa Malaysia.
In 2008, Nicholas decided to switch to lecturing. Ever since, he has the opportunity to share his vast experience in some of Malaysia’s biggest private institution ranging from diploma, degree to professional courses. His notable achievement includes producing world 1st prize winner in CAT and ACCA. His experience is invaluable and with real case studies to present to his students, it has been so much easier for them to understand.
Tan Siu Mae
BSc in Economics & management
She has 19 years of lecturing experience in LCCI, ACCA, and A-levels, along with 21 years of private tutoring experience in Accounting, Economics, and English. With her extensive teaching background, excellent communication skills, and approachable, empathetic personality, she ensures that the learning process is both beneficial and engaging.
Edan Tham Kian Tung
FCCA
Edan began his career in audit services with one of the Big 4 Audit Firms after completing his ACCA studies. He later transitioned to the academic sector, believing that being an educator allows him to find greater purpose and fulfill his passion for teaching.
With experience working with corporate clients and colleagues from diverse backgrounds, Edan integrates his practical knowledge and real-life examples into his teaching. He believes these insights provide valuable learning opportunities for students.
Edan is dedicated to creating a lively and encouraging classroom atmosphere, as he firmly believes that a positive environment fosters effective learning and helps students absorb knowledge more easily.
Shamala Sukerathavan

Shamala began her career at a small to mid-sized accounting and audit firm, where she gained valuable insights into the practical aspects of preparing financial statements and managed the end-to-end accounting processes for her clients. She later advanced her career with a major multinational corporation (MNC), which provided her with extensive experience in financial management, including budgeting, treasury operations, and management information systems.
In 2001, driven by her passion for education, Shamala transitioned from a career in finance and accounting to academia. With over 18 years of lecturing experience, she is a strong advocate of active learning. Her teaching approach incorporates class discussions and real-life commercial scenarios, fostering an engaging and practical understanding of the subject matter. Shamala places particular emphasis on past examination questions, focusing on the application of accounting standards and principles rather than rote memorization. Her ultimate goal is to nurture her students into well-rounded professionals.
For the past 15 years, Shamala has been deeply involved in lecturing ACCA courses and final-year undergraduate accounting examination papers. Her ongoing commitment to teaching ensures she stays updated on the latest financial accounting standards and pronouncements shaping the accounting profession. As an experienced lecturer, she provides invaluable insights into examination techniques, equipping her students to excel in both undergraduate and professional examinations.
Seetha Shanmugavel
FCCA, Masters in finance
Ms. Seetha has nearly a decade of teaching experience in professional accountancy qualifications, specializing in financial management, financial planning, and strategic business management.
She holds several teaching certifications from international educational service providers under their prestigious ‘Train the Trainer’ programs. Her expertise was recognized when she was invited as a guest speaker and panelist for ACCA’s Power Hour Talk in both 2023 and 2024.
At her previous academic institution, Ms. Seetha served as a subject matter expert, leading in-house training sessions for colleagues and providing valuable insights on the papers she taught. Her professional background, which includes experience in investment banking and one of the leading accounting firms, further enhances her ability to deliver practical and engaging lessons.
With her rich knowledge and industry insights, Ms. Seetha is dedicated to empowering her students to excel in their academic and professional journeys.
Tan Vooi Giap
CA, FCCA, FCIS AIDPM, PGCert (UCLA)
Tan is highly regarded for his innovative and effective teaching techniques, consistently earning excellent evaluations from his students.
His students appreciate his concise and user-friendly slides, written in simple English and enriched with mnemonics and visual images of movie characters. These engaging teaching tools have contributed to high pass rates and numerous achievements, including several ACCA top affiliates and subject prize winners among his students.
Tan was a Lee Foundation Scholar and a dual ICSA World Prize Winner. He brings 30 years of international corporate and cross-cultural experience to the classroom, offering invaluable insights. He has extensive experience teaching case studies and currently specializes in teaching Strategic Business Leader. Prior to his academic career, Tan served as Chief Financial Officer and Director at three public-listed companies.
His passion for teaching was further cultivated during a training stint at BPP in the United Kingdom. Outside of his professional career, Tan was once the national chess captain, showcasing his diverse talents and leadership skills.
Teo Yung Chian
ACMA, CGMA, CFE, CA (M)
Teo holds a Master’s degree in Business from the Athlone Institute of Technology (Ireland). He is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and a member of both the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
Teo has volunteered as a teacher for a Paris-based online educational institution, helping students prepare for the SAT exam. His passion for teaching extends to tutoring Business Mathematics for foundation-level students, as well as primary and secondary school students. Additionally, he has contributed as a freelance writer, creating Standard 4 KSSR-Semakan study materials for an online educational institution. Currently, Teo serves as a freelance script marker for the marking team of a UK-based CIMA tuition provider.
Teo is also a member of the advisory panel for CIMA Young Leaders, a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering meaningful relationships among members, including university accounting and finance students, as well as young professionals and executives.
Wong Paik Wan
FCCA, CA(M), ACTIM
Paik Wan has over 10 years of practical experience in audit and assurance services, as well as the commercial sector. She has expertise in financial accounting, financial management, secretarial practices, taxation, and various management areas, including human resources.
In 2003, she transitioned into academia, pursuing her passion for teaching. Paik Wan lectures on financial accounting and taxation for professional courses such as CAT and ACCA. She has also been trained in accelerated learning methods, which she incorporates into her teaching.
With her extensive corporate experience, Paik Wan enriches her lectures with real-life work scenarios, making her sessions both engaging and practical. Known for her caring, friendly, and committed approach, she is deeply dedicated to her students’ success and fosters a supportive learning environment.
Paik Wan is a Fellow Member of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), an Associate Member of the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia (ACTIM), and a Chartered Accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (CA).
She also serves as a registered mentor for the ACCA Oxford Brookes University Research and Analysis Project. Through her mentorship, Paik Wan enhances students’ learning abilities and guides them in successfully completing their research and analysis projects.
Yap Wai Wing
C.A(M), FCCA (UK), MBA
Yap is a Chartered Certified Accountant based in Malaysia, a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), and a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA). He also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
With a strong passion for auditing, Yap has been actively engaged in both practical and academic roles. Since 2017, he has lectured extensively on audit-related topics, guiding over 300 graduates, including prize-winning students. In his professional practice, he collaborates with audit firms, providing consultation and advisory services on audit engagements.
Beyond his lecturing responsibilities, Yap is a sought-after trainer for professional examination bodies. He has trained hundreds of university lecturers, equipping them with effective teaching strategies for delivering professional accountancy papers.
